Immediate Release - Ambassadors of Harmony Delight Holiday
Show Attendees
-
12/16/05

The
Ambassadors of Harmony entertained over 7,000 attendees
in five performances of "Holiday Greetings!",
their annual Christmas program, at the Blanche M. Touhill
Performing Arts Center on December 9th, 10th and 11th.
This show was the top ticket seller at the Touhill Center
in 2005 .
The
first half of the program featured The Ambassadors of
Harmony singing several Holiday favorites ranging from
"Happy Holidays" to "Mr. Grinch".
They were followed by a performance by Vocal Spectrum,
a very exciting young quartet that placed 6th at this
year's BHS International Quartet Competition; and the
audience was then treated to the final performance ever
by the Gas House Gang, 1993 International Champion Quartet.
In
the second half of the show, The Ambassadors of Harmony
performed traditional Christmas and Hanukkah music from
around the world, ending with a candle-lit "Silent
Night" recessional that filled all with the spirit
of "Peace on Earth".
The
Ambassadors wish to thank all the patrons who attended
and who gave them such wonderful compliments after the
shows. They will be performing at the Touhill Center
in June and December of 2006.
