St. Charles, Missouri
– The Ambassadors of Harmony chorus, world class in
barbershop harmony, has once again won the title of Chorus Champions of
the Central States District of the Society for the Preservation and
encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America (SPEBSQSA). The
competition took place in Topeka, Kansas Saturday afternoon. They
delighted the audience with their exciting performance of "The Toy
Song", composed and arranged by Associate Director, Dr. David
Wright, of Washington University. They then brought the patrons to their
feet after their moving rendition of "Toyland". Both songs
were performed under the direction of Dr. Jim Henry, of Lindenwood
University.
