Ambassadors
of Harmony Chorus The Ambassadors of Harmony, the 2004 International Championship Chorus, awards a $1000 Scholarship each year to a male high school senior or college student who is actively participating in their school's vocal music program within St. Charles County. This year's winner was Timothy Robert Schleinat, from St. Charles West High School, whose choir director praised him not only for his musicianship but his positive attitude and his leadership ability. He is a three year member of St. Charles West's top vocal ensemble, The Madrigal Choir. He performed major roles in St. Charles West's Productions of Brigadoon, The 1940's Radio Hour, and Cole Porter. He has won Honor I ratings for his solo and small ensemble performances at the Missouri State Solo and Small Ensemble Festival, and was chosen Top Trumpet Player in the St. Louis Suburban Music District in both Classical and Jazz styles. Timothy received the St. Charles West National Choral Award, and his picture will be on the Wall Of Fame for Vocal as well as Instrumental Music. He will be attending the University of North Texas in the fall, majoring in Jazz Studies. Tim
was awarded the scholarship at the Ambassadors of Harmony Spring Show
at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center on June 26th. |
