The Ambassadors of Harmony to Perform in England

The Ambassadors of Harmony, BHS International Champion chorus, will be traveling to England to perform in Harrogate on May 20th and 21st, 2006. The Ambassadors have performed previously all over the United States and Canada, as well as in Germany, Sweden and Ireland. 2006 is their final year to lay out of competition, having won the International Championship in 2004. They will resume competition in October at the BHS Central States District contest. They must win there in order to qualify to resume International Competition in July, 2007 in Denver Colorado. The Ambassadors of Harmony Chorus has won the Central States District Championship 11 times, and have been Medalists in International Competition 10 times, including their Gold Medal Performance in 2004. Their mission is to educate their membership "in order to continually improve in vocal quality, performance, and personal fulfillment” in a cappella singing.

The Ambassadors perform a cappella music in many styles, including Light Classical, Traditional Jazz, Folk, Religious, and Barbershop. When they perform, their goal is to give a gift that will change the lives of the people in their audience. Their annual shows in the St. Louis area draw thousands of fans, all of whom leave the theater feeling that they have seen and heard something truly unique and awe inspiring:
