Ambassadors of
Harmony Makes European Performance Tour
The Ambassadors of Harmony, and International Medalist a cappella
chorus, will be embarking on a European Performance Tour on March 3,
2004. They'll begin by traveling to Dortmund, Germany where they
will perform in two shows associated with the BinG! (Barbershop in
Germany) Convention on Friday and Saturday, and also on local radio on
Monday morning.
They'll
travel to the Netherlands on Monday, and perform in Leiden on Tuesday. On
Wednesday they will go to Amsterdam for some site-seeing and a canal
cruise, and depart for Sweden on Thursday. They will perform in two shows
on Friday and Saturday evenings with the EntertainMen, Sweden's own a
cappella chorus, at Göta Lejon.
The Ambassadors will return to the USA on Sunday, and will
immediately resume a busy rehearsal schedule in preparation for the
International Chorus Competition to be held on July 3, 2004 in Louisville,
Kentucky. The group has a long history of musical excellence, having
been Medalists in International Competition for nine years, and have been
Champions of the Central States District, SPEBSQSA, for eleven years in a
row. The
Ambassadors of Harmony annual Spring Show will be held on June 26, at 2:00
PM and 8:00 PM, at the Touhill Performing Arts Center, one week prior to
the International competition. Tickets will go on sale in the early
