Ambassadors of Harmony Leave Christmas
Show Patrons with a Great Memory!
The Ambassadors of
Harmony performed their annual Christmas Show seven times this season;
twice in Columbia, Missouri on December 7th, and five times in
St. Louis at Missouri Baptist University Theater December 12th
– 14th. Over
5000 patrons went away feeling strong in Christmas spirit and filled with
respect for a musical group who are finally beginning to be well known for
what they've been doing for a long time – pursuing musical excellence,
with a mission to delight the person sitting in the back row.
There was something to please everyone in the Ambassadors' show,
whether it was the playful fun of the first act and Santa's new helper,
Mr. Stench, and the Twelve Days of Christmas, or
the sheer harmonic delight of the music of Christmas in the second act.
With quartets like The Gas House Gang, Cadence – 2003 District
Champs, and Vocal Spectrum, along with Lindenwood University's Voices
Only, there was a great deal of top-drawer singing going on.
If you missed it this year, don't let another Christmas season go
by without seeing and hearing this wonderful group.
Here are some comments:
"Well, guys, my face is still hurting from
the perpetual smile I had on my face throughout your show. "
"I was the audience yesterday and couldn't
have spent a more delightful afternoon. AOH was wonderful,
awesome, stupendous, great and I could go on and on."
"I had the pleasure of attending your show last evening and had
a great time. What a great show! The level of talent and the
leadership to take that talent to such heights is exceptional."
The Ambassadors of Harmony have been Medalists in International Chorus
competition for ten of the past eleven years and have been Central States
District Champions for eleven years in a row. They will be performing at
"Acappelooza!" on February 7, a show sponsored by Lindenwood
University's "Voices Only" ensemble.
