 Dave
Carlisle has been a barbershopper since the age of 12, when he joined
his father Terry and grandfather Dean in the Ambassadors. He first competed
in Miami in 1995, and since then has earned several International medals
and appeared in dozens of chapter shows and other AOH performances. While
in college at the University of Illinois, Dave served as assistant director
of the small but mighty Illini Statesmen. He has sung with short-lived
quartets Final Cut and the aptly-named One Trick Pony. In addition to
barbershop, Dave enjoys dabbling in musical theater and is an avid soccer
player. He makes his home in Hazelwood, with his lovely wife Abby and
their puppies Max and Minnie. Dave works as a software engineer to support
his barbershop habit. He also currently serves as Chapter Treasurer, but
despite the demands of the job, he'll always make time for a song or a
tag. |
